I build the layered forms from the base of the paper to the highest point I can reach. The protruding conical form at the top narrows as my reach range narrows.
The tallies are made, but they are not counted. The layered areas emphasize this and also point to the range of the paper surface that is at a point on the wall that requires less strain to draw.
