Each circle drawing is diagrammatic, here the central red ring links to the moment I heard the quote which is emphasized and repeated in red as the title of the work. Something outside of my control, yet within my awareness, is worked into the drawing and becomes the subject. As a person reads a quote, tracing the line that extends into the drawing to find out when each event happened, their body moves close and the circle frames their torso.
