'Dreadlock Mike' Alston
Mike was a person I saw most often on the move. When I asked if he wanted to use one of the orange filters he looked further beyond the frame than most, describing the orange light layering over the architecture he saw daily, changing the view from any light pattern he had observed across seasons and years. The orange reflected back onto the right side of his face and his hair. I remember the lengths of quiet as we looked at the orange warmed light.
