Art and Music Interactives: Firearm Violence Prevention and Women's Health
When we use art and music to have conversations about health and what it means to have a body, it becomes more possible to remember that this human experience is shared.
I design audience-aware graphics and art interactives. Partnering with researchers in medicine, I invite and guide participants in making processes and conversation and use aspects of data visualization to illustrate patterns of experience shared amongst specific groups of people who live in particular geographic locations.
Art can bring us back to our senses.
