Circle Portrait Sessions

Circle Portraits are designed around you as an individual and in relation to others who are part of your life. In our sessions we focus on you and may include a person or a pet who you are honoring or reflecting on.

Introducing the visual content of your portrait and present themes is the focus in our intro conversation session. You may have an idea about themes you are focused on, but you do not need to know that now. Intro conversations are 30min - 1hr.

We will find and add to your themes in a phased-time format of 3-5 conversations.

Sessions 2-3
Your portrait will be designed starting with a circular path at the center and move outwards. Around the perimeter or border of your portrait will be singular words or themes and we will add phrases that are centered around who and what you are focused on and moving towards. Each session is 30min - 1hr.

Between our conversation sessions I will add content to your portrait.

Portrait Completion Session
For the completion phase, we will have an idea of the major themes and the figures will be close to complete.

You choose what level of reflection you talk about. The content of the portrait is reflected by me and you at our completion session. Often, I share a reflection summary of our conversations and the drawing sessions and ask what reflections you have in relation and in addition. For some occasions, you may choose to wait and let the interpretation unfold through viewing the portrait over time and in sharing it with other people.

Pay it forward pricing is an option for those wishing to contribute towards sessions for another person requesting a discount. Contact me If you are seeking a discount. I will add you to a wait list.

Scaling and pricing can vary above 12" x 12" Examples include adding more figures or layers. If you want to include more people, we could consider a landscape format to add more composition space.
